Evaluation of common quince of VNIISPK breeding as pear seedling rootstock for fruit production in Central Russia

چکیده
The article presents preliminary results of studies on the assessment VNIISPK breeding common quince use as an intensive type seedling rootstock for pear cultivation in conditions Central Russia. It was established that is suitable to be used Russian midland and has sufficient winter resistance overground root systems, high yield good compatibility with some varieties. Strong fusion active growth development when using apple-pear hybrid No. 818 noted; it can recommended intermediate stock (mediator) incompatible variety-rootstock combinations. Research this direction will continued.
